Do you want to influence the future of Norrbotten?

Future Lab is a democracy forum for those of you who are 15-25 years old and lives in Norrbotten. The is a unique chance to work together with Region Norrbotten's decision-makers to develop ideas for a better county. We need your thoughts, perspectives and experiences. And wI believe in your competence and want to take advantage of your commitment. 
The application closed on March 31.

Future Lab will serve as a meeting place where young people from all over Norrbotten meet decision-makers and work together on issues that affect life here - now and in the future.  Many young people feel like they are not being listened to. We want to change that! Your experiences and opinions matter.

I Future Lab lets you into the rooms where decisions are made. The focus is on a co-creation workshop on April 23, where you will explore important social issues together and come up with ideas that will actually be taken forward.

What is important to you? Do you want more buses, more enjoyable leisure time, making it easier to move away from home? Do we need a wider range of jobs and education in Norrbotten? Take the chance to tell those who actually make decisions about the county's development.  

Good to know

As a participant you will:  

  • Work out solutions in small groups together with other young people and a couple of our decision-makers. 

  • Attend at least one preparatory meeting where you will learn about the topics and structure. 

  • Develop ideas, data or proposals that can influence the region's decisions. 

  • Participate and evaluate Future Lab so that the forum develops in the right direction. 

  • Get paid for the time you put in and, if necessary, compensation for travel and lost income.

We are looking for 28 young people from all over Norrbotten – two from each municipality.  

It is an opportunity to make your voice heard, and make new friends from all over the county who are also interested in social issues.  

  • Vi stands for travel, hotel room and dinner in Luleå on April 22. In the evening we prepare together for tomorrow.  

  • The next day we start with a joint morning session before offering lunch at 12:00. After that we continue into an afternoon filled with dialogue, collaboration and creative moments. 

  • You will be divided into a small group with other young people and some of the region's decision-makers. Together you will explore important issues that young people have identified and develop ideas. and solutions before we end the day at 16:00 PM. 

  • Our leaders guide you through the entire process, step by step, and of course we offer coffee!
