Norrbotten regional planning map

This is the Norrbotten Region's map service for displaying geographic information that is important for regional development work and municipal comprehensive planning.

The joint planning map facilitates collaboration in strategic planning between the region, authorities and municipalities. It is easy to understand, and contains current and relevant material. It contributes to creating a better digital basis for spatial planning and makes initiatives and needs visible through territorial analyses.

The map service contains regional information about, for example, care, service, culture, public health, public transport and infrastructure. However, the map service can also contain regional priorities and governing documents with a geographical focus, such as the County Transport Plan for Norrbotten, prioritized locations for support for commercial services and the Structural Image of Norrbotten.

At the moment, the map service works best when viewed on a larger screen. The map is under ongoing construction and development, which means that it is currently in a phase where it can change in terms of appearance and content.

The development effort is financed by Region Norrbotten and the European Regional Development Fund.
