Cooperation
Norrbotten Regional Library collaborates both regionally and nationally to develop libraries and strengthen access to knowledge, culture and service throughout the county.
Regional collaboration – Libraries in Norrbotten
Our mission is to support the development of public libraries. The goal is that all residents of Norrbotten should have a wide and varied range of literature and library services. That is why we have been collaborating with all 14 municipalities in the county since 2013 in the organization Biblioteken i Norrbotten. This means that we share costs and knowledge when it comes to, for example, computer systems and websites.
National collaboration
At the national level, we collaborate with other regional library operations on joint initiatives for the libraries. The resource libraries for the national minority languages also play an important role in our work.
