We work to develop the conditions for professional cultural creators in cultural and creative industries which are affected by both cultural and business policy.
What is common to companies in cultural and creative industries (CCI) is that the starting point is creativity and artistic creation that becomes a source of income. They are largely small companies that often connect industries and skills that can lead to innovative economic development.
Work is underway to strengthen the design and form area in Norrbotten. Meetings between the tourism industry and professional cultural creators in arts and crafts, handicrafts, crafts and design contribute to the development. One result of this is the meeting place Slöjd- och formcenter, which is located in Luleå and is aimed at the general public in Norrbotten.

Our companies in cultural and creative industries
Together with the municipalities, we finance the companies Filmpool Nord and BD Pop, whose mission is to develop their respective areas, build industries and thereby develop the diversified labor market. They are an important part of the cultural and creative industries in Norrbotten.
