Our mission is to strengthen the role and importance of culture for all residents and visitors of Norrbotten. Wherever you live and work, you should have the opportunity to both practice and participate in culture.
We provide financial support to the many people, activities and projects of the rich cultural life. We contribute to strengthened collaboration between actors around the county, and we also represent Norrbotten's cultural interests in national contexts.
Our mission and the mission of the regional cultural activities are the national cultural policy goals and the Norrbotten Cultural Plan 2023-2026. We promote regional cultural development by:
- Grant cultural support
- Responsible for the process of the Cultural Plan for Norrbotten
- Act as a dialogue partner in national forums in the cultural field
- Together with our own businesses, we support culture in Norrbotten
