Validation means that your skills and experiences are assessed and recognised, regardless of how you learned them. It can open doors to education or work faster, without having to start from scratch.

In Norrbotten, there is great potential in people with valuable knowledge and experience that often lack formal recognition. At the same time, the region is facing a demographic challenge, where fewer people of working age will have to support a growing proportion of older people. This makes it crucial to better utilize the skills that already exist regardless of age, background or formal education.

This benefits both individuals and employers and strengthens the region's ability to succeed in the industrial transition. Every individual who can and wants to contribute is a resource we cannot afford to lose. By working smarter with tools that enable existing knowledge to be made visible and utilized, we create faster paths into working life.
