Skills supply

Norrbotten has a unique opportunity to lead the world towards a sustainable transition. To succeed in this, new skills are needed for the green industries. At the same time, the existing business sector must be renewed and strengthened.

The supply of skills is the key to a sustainable future. The ability to make use of the skills of all residents is also an important part of an inclusive and equal society. Access to skills and new knowledge is also crucial for business and public sector activities to continue to grow and develop.

The Norrbotten Region has a government mandate to create collaboration between different players in the market. We do this both through our skills council and through targeted efforts for skills development.
