Norrbotten is one of the EU's most innovative regions. We will continue to promote this, partly through investments in research, innovation and entrepreneurship, and partly by being brave, daring to experiment and taking risks.
The work around research, innovation and entrepreneurship is about finding ways forward to develop Norrbotten and give all actors in the county the best conditions to succeed. Region Norrbotten's role in this work is to continuously help other actors take the next step so that we can create a more attractive place that is competitive in the future. Norrbotten needs to make progress in sustainable development so that we can meet today's needs without it happening at the expense of future generations.
It's about investing in what we can be the best at. All to strengthen Sweden's and Europe's future competitiveness.
It's about a way of being and relating to one's surroundings. Seeing opportunities for change and being able to develop them into something greater.
It's about finding common issues both within Sweden and with regions in other EU countries.
