The goal is to strengthen the county's capabilities in important regional growth and development issues.

Who is behind it?

Regional renewal is a collaborative project between Region Norrbotten, the County Administrative Board of Norrbotten County and Luleå University of Technology.

What is happening in the project?

A region's ability to strengthen its competitiveness in the long term is about working purposefully with the opportunities and challenges that exist in the region. For example, it is about developing new ways of thinking to strengthen entrepreneurship and new businesses. Regional development capacity is not only dependent on how well regional actors act, but also on the ability to interact with the outside world.

Part of the project is therefore about strengthening regional analysis in various areas. The reports produced within Regional Renewal are important decision-making data in the regional growth work in Norrbotten.
