Enabling principles

The principles are based on the county's conditions and respond to both current and future needs. They contribute to taking responsibility for people and sustainability, using the opportunities of digital transformation, knowledge exchange and how we build a resilient society. The principles should permeate the focus areas and stay the right course on the journey towards a sustainable Norrbotten.

  All efforts should contribute to social, ecological and economic sustainability with a focus on equality, gender equality and participation.
• We create opportunities through digital transformation
  Digital solutions and new technology should be used in a safe, inclusive and value-creating way.
• We learn from others and share our knowledge
  Through collaboration and knowledge exchange – locally, nationally and internationally – we develop better solutions and increase the county's capacity.
• We are building a resilient society
  Preparedness, robust structures and the ability to act in the event of changes and crises need to be strengthened with joint effort.
