How do the young people of Norrbotten see the future?
The people of Norrbotten need to become many more – but the population is still shrinking. What is it that attracts some young people to move away from here? What makes others see their future here?

In this episode of Let's talk, we talk to young people from seven different municipalities, on the threshold of adulthood. How do they think about their future, and about Norrbotten?
- I'm going to try to study further, mainly towards something that will allow me to stay here in Norrbotten, says one of the participants, My Åberg.
A participant who sees his future in Norrbotten has his roots far from here.
"Up here, there's a lot of WE. It feels welcoming. People accept each other," says Torous Bagdasharian, who came here to escape the Syrian war and is now studying theater in Luleå.
In the episode, the young people reflect on what it was like growing up in a small town, what they missed and appreciated, their professional dreams, what it takes to get more people to move here, about tolerance and peer pressure, and the importance of getting involved and influencing development.
