“We started small”

Granträsk Sawmill, dating back to 1874, was originally just a sawmill.

“We started as a small sawmill, then we built a planing mill and started building things from what we planed. Now we manufacture houses from design to production and assembly,” says Marie Rönnholm, CEO of the company. 

With the help of investment support, they have automated the flow of raw materials in the factory and can thus use more material and reduce waste, which has increased the capacity of the factory.

“It not only benefits the company but also provides environmental benefits and work environment improvements, which is good for the entire region,” says Marie.
