Jokkmokk Arctic Talks: Here are all the participants

Who will be on the panel that will twist and turn the difficult questions about path choices in the wake of the green transition? Here are all the participants in this year's Jokkmokk Arctic Talks.

Eva Sundin, Head of Department for Environment, Norrbotten County Administrative Board
Experienced manager, PhD in Water Resources Engineering and MSc in Environmental Planning and Design. She has previously worked in various positions at Vattenfall and was CEO of Swerea MEFOS (now Swerim), a research institute for sustainable industry.

Karin Lexén, Secretary General, Swedish Society for Nature Conservation
Many years of experience in grassroots work and advocacy. Previously served as head of international policy and World Water Week at the International Water Institute. She has also worked at the Ministry of the Environment and was chairman of the organization Fairtrade. Has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry.

Håkan Jonsson, Chairman of the Sami Parliament
Party leader of the Hunting and Fishing Sami and has worked with Sami politics since 1993 when the Sami Parliament was founded. Håkan comes from Vuovosberg in Sorsele. He has worked as a Sami farmer and teacher and has a Master of Science in biology.

Riikka Aaltonen, independent expert
Has extensive experience in permit issues and mining legislation in both Sweden and Finland.
Has worked at both regional and national level in Finland with mining issues. Has worked at both LKAB and Boliden as a geologist. She has since been an advisor to the Finnish government.

Fredrik Svartengren, Swedish Energy Agency
Many years of experience from the Swedish Energy Agency where he held several different management positions within Operative Support and Energy Markets. For the past four years he has led the department for Electricity Production and Society.

Andreas Johansson, Luleå University of Technology
Has recently defended a thesis that states that dialogue in connection with conflict-filled industrial establishments does not lead to consensus between the parties involved. Andreas is a researcher in political science.

Carl Wangel, Head of governmental relations, SSAB
Has experience in establishment, opinion formation and regional growth through his previous work at Luleå Business Region, Gullers Grupp and Skogsindustrierna. He is also involved in the Swedish Association for Urban Planning, a forum for urban planners who shape a sustainable future.
