Make the voices of young people heard!

The young people of Norrbotten are the future of the county. We need their drive, their ideas, their expertise. But what is important to them? Help us find out. Use our workshop materials for young people.

The process of developing a new regional development strategy, RUS, is currently underway. It aims for 2040. Today's teenagers will be well into adulthood by 2040.

We as adults have a responsibility to help today's young people participate and have influence. Can you enable a group of young people to influence the society they will grow up in - do it! You, who may be a school principal, teacher, leisure leader or volunteer in an association, can be such an enabler.

Our special workshop materials for young people are suitable for people aged 12-20. Here you will find instructor and worksheetIt's about what's good and not so good about the place where they live, what they're missing and how they could make it better. The last day to contribute is November 1st.

The workshop can be done by many different groups and contexts, such as:

  • a student council
  • in a school class
  • in a cultural or sports club
  • a group of friends
  • a recreation center council

The preparation is just to print out the two worksheets. The workshop takes about an hour to complete.

The thoughts, suggestions, opinions and ideas we receive are all handled in the same way. We use AI to analyze and compile the large amounts of responses we receive. This means that the opinions of a teenager are given the same space as the opinions of a politician or business leader. RUS is about real impact.
