New cultural director appointed in Norrbotten Region

The new cultural director of the Norrbotten Region is Anette Winblad von Walter. She currently works as cultural director within Gällivare Municipality.

Anette Winblad von Walter has previously worked as a director and producer for films, TV series and documentaries. In addition to being the cultural director in Gällivare, she has also taught at Luleå University of Technology and the Film Academy in Nykarleby and worked for SKR.

– We are very happy to be able to recruit Anette Winblad as the new cultural director. Anette has solid experience in the cultural areas and as a leader. I feel very confident that she will be able to both drive the cultural work itself and elevate the cultural area as a crucial part of regional development in the county.

Anette Winblad von Walter will take up the position on June 1 of this year.
