From the Present – ​​The County Museums Tell the Story

Together with the Swedish County Museums, UR Samtiden has produced exclusive mini-lectures with stories from all over the country. The county museums have selected stories that are relevant to describing something that concerns their own region.

In the spring of 2022, UR Samtiden visited Norrbotten Museum and recorded stories from Norrbotten for its lecture series “From the past – County museums tell”. Museum staff talk about everything from the 1912 Norrbotten costume and a file folder from Vittangi, to Norrbotten County workhouses and the former Vita duvan prison.
