Sweden's first county museum on Google Art & Culture

Norrbotten Museum is now the first county museum in Sweden to be on the Google Arts & Culture platform. With this presence, it reaches not only Norrbotten residents and Swedes in general, but also a global audience.

The museum's content on Google Arts & Culture focuses on Norrbotten's prehistory and the Sami collections. The platform will gradually be filled with content that reflects the county's broad and diverse cultural heritage, history and wealth of cultural environments.

The initiative is part of Norrbotten Museum's digital strategy to make the museum's collections accessible and communicate them in new ways and in new contexts.
