The support applies to operations and ongoing activities in the cultural and leisure area that have continuous and long-term operations and contribute to an attractive and sustainable Norrbotten.

Between May 15 and June 15, it is possible to apply for operating support for cultural and leisure activities in Norrbotten.
Important for this year's application
The application period for operating support 2027 is open between May 15 and June 15. For organizations that have three-year operating support granted for the period 2026-2028, no new application will be made this year.
With this year's application, there is no possibility of being granted three-year operating support. The possibility of being granted three-year support exists every three years and organizations that are granted multi-year operating support receive the amount granted annually for three years. This applies to cultural and leisure organizations that are granted a maximum of SEK 100,000.

Decisions are made by the Regional Development Board based on fundamental conditions. The decision cannot be appealed.
Decisions are announced in January of the year following the application.

Final reporting for a one-year decision occurs upon new application.
In the case of a three-year decision, the final report is submitted no later than six months after the end of the financial year.
Activities that have been granted three-year operating support 2023-2025 must submit an annual report for 2025 by June 30, 2026.
Reports must be received no later than six months after the end of the financial year, otherwise a refund may be required.

Billing information
All organizations that have been granted operating support must invoice Region Norrbotten according to the decision sent out. You can also find information about your decision in your case at myansokan.se
Do you have three-year operating support?
For three-year operating grants that have been decided for 2026-2028, you must invoice the granted amount annually. Invoicing may not take place earlier than January 20 for the current year.
Mark the invoice with "Operational Support 2026" and state the same 5-digit reference number/cost center according to the decision letter.
