Lectures and discussions based on two current reports

"Young voices from rural areas - challenges, opportunities and solutions" is a newly released report from the Youth 2030 Movement, based on the association's meetings with thousands of young people from 52 rural municipalities around the country. Young people who grow up in rural areas face special challenges related to basic living conditions such as leisure activities, education, healthcare and public transport. At the same time, there is a strong local patriotism and many want to stay in the place where they grew up. Linda Tjälldén, project manager for the Youth Up North initiative, talks about lessons learned from our work, what young people think is most important and what solutions young people themselves see for what municipalities and other local actors can do to improve the situation.

"Social transformation on young people's terms - with sports, business and the public sector" is produced by Kairos Future on behalf of RF-SISU Norrbotten and establishes the importance of collaboration for social sustainability in societal transformation. Industry, roads, housing and labor are not enough. Life between the buildings must not be forgotten, and the sports movement and young people have key roles in realizing the good life. RF-SISU talks about the report and how to work further with its conclusions.
