Meet with the regional network for events
The network is primarily aimed at those who work with different types of events (culture, business and sports) from a strategic perspective. The aim is to strengthen relationships between actors in the county and exchange experiences with each other.
A warm welcome to the Meeting Place SM-veckan and this spring's meeting with the regional event network. Several municipalities and destinations from all over the county have already found their way to the network and our door is open to more. We hope that actors from all over Norrbotten will come to Piteå to discuss the future and the importance of events for regional development. We will take part in lectures, good examples and also get to experience the SM-veckan on site - one of Sweden's largest sporting events.

Audience
The network is open to all regional and local actors/organizations in Norrbotten who work with different types of events from a strategic perspective.
Cost
400 SEK/person. The cost includes coffee, lunch and afternoon tea.
About the network
The regional event network has been started on the initiative of RF-SISU Norrbotten together with Luleå Municipality/Luleå Business Region, Piteå Municipality and Region Norrbotten.
Every year, numerous events are arranged in Norrbotten. All of them are important for increasing the quality of life for those of us who live and work in Norrbotten, but also for developing the region through tourism and the hospitality industry. With collaboration, we can clarify and strengthen the image of Norrbotten as an obvious event region for international and national events.
About Meeting place SM week
The Meeting Place is part of the Swedish Championship week in Piteå, 23–28 March 2022. With sports in focus, important issues for regional and national development are raised. Under the flag of the Meeting Place, we have conversations, get inspired and gain increased knowledge in current topics and research.
Meeting point The Swedish Championships week is arranged in collaboration between the Swedish Sports Federation, RF-SISU Norrbotten, Luleå University of Technology, Region Norrbotten and Piteå Municipality.
