Northern Sweden is undergoing a world-unique societal transformation. With SEK 1400 billion invested in renewable energy, electrification and green steel, Norr- and Västerbotten are expected to attract 100 new residents by 000 and create tens of thousands of new jobs. At the heart of these expansive regions are Boden and Luleå, which play a central role in the green global societal transformation. In just 2035-3 years, these cities will grow and develop at a pace that normally takes 5 years. With enormous investments and a wave of new jobs, it is high time that all of Sweden comes together around the opportunities and challenges linked to the transformation processes. Now is our chance.

SIR24, together with Demo North Summit, focuses on the green industrial transition in northern Sweden through two parallel meeting places. The Swedish Innovation Parliament 13-15 May and Demo North Summit 14-16 May. The Swedish Innovation Parliament - SIR is the annual meeting arena of the Swedish industry organization Swedish Incubators & Science Parks (SISP). An event that brings together the core of Sweden's national and regional profiles within innovation environments, politics, business, academia and society. Those who work to promote, strengthen and develop innovation, business and politics based on current societal challenges.
