Invitation to Regional Gender Equality Day

Start where you are! That is the theme of this year's conference and emphasizes the importance of everyone being able to contribute to change where you are.

Day of Equality Collaboration

Four regional actors are organizing the Regional Gender Equality Day to recognize successful gender equality work and award the Norrbotten Gender Equality Award to the actor who is currently doing something special to put gender equality issues at the top of the agenda. A new feature this year is that the day is being organized in collaboration with the Gender Equality Delegation in Norrbotten.

Call Gender equality is an issue for the entire population. We encourage those of you who attend to bring someone of a different gender to this year's conference.

Programme

This year's Regional Gender Equality Day is moderated by Jonna Barsk, Business Strategist SSAB and Stefan Lindbäck, CEO Lindbäcks Group.

During the day, the winner of the Norrbotten Gender Equality Award 2024 will be presented.

Audience

All of you who are interested in social development in various ways and work within government, civil society, business, municipality or region.

The Regional Gender Equality Day is arranged in collaboration between Region Norrbotten, Norrbotten Municipalities, Norrbotten County Administrative Board and Luleå University of Technology. This year, the day is being held in collaboration with the Gender Equality Delegation.
