Take the opportunity to make contributions to the feasibility study on regional event collaboration!
More and larger events in Norrbotten can increase the sense of pride, contribute to growth and increase the county's attractiveness. These signals have come from associations, cultural organizers, the tourism industry and other businesses. In 2023, Region Norrbotten will therefore carry out a feasibility study to get answers to what a regional event strategy could look like and be realized. Jenny Hakeberg, the consultant conducting the feasibility study, will guide us through the work with the feasibility study, as we have the opportunity to provide input and ideas.
In recent years, Kalix Municipality has created several events that have had a great impact in Sweden and thereby increased the municipality's attraction value. Kalix Municipality talks about the work to become the outdoor municipality of the year in 2023 in Sweden and about the importance of collaborating with various actors.
We will also receive an inspirational lecture from Lena Hermansson, project manager for Vasaloppet, who will talk about how they are working to develop Vasaloppet into a year-round meeting place.
Welcome to two days filled with new insights where we get to know each other's conditions, listen to interesting lectures and provide input on how we can develop regional event collaboration.
We charge a cost fee for the meal of 650 SEK excluding VAT. Everyone arranges their own accommodation. There are pre-booked rooms at Hotel Valhall until September 15. Please state the booking number 139891 when booking.

About the event network
The purpose of the network is to strengthen relationships between actors in the county and exchange experiences with each other. A long-term goal is to strengthen the image of the importance of events for regional development and bring more international and national events to the county.
