The EU invests and plans interventions over seven-year periods. Work is currently underway to prepare the 2021-2027 programming period, with the first calls expected to open in spring 2022. The programming period means billions of EU funds available for project initiatives.

The aim of the initiative is to strengthen the capacity of Norrbotten's stakeholders for the upcoming programming period. This means a strengthened ability to run projects in collaboration, based on regional strategies and priorities in EU programs such as the Regional Fund, the Social Fund and Interreg Aurora. It is also about developing projects that are based on a clear logic of change, and that use sustainability as a lever for development throughout all phases of the project.

Tommie Helgée from European Minds carries out mobilization efforts.
The activities can take place in groups or through individual coaching.

Participation is free of charge and is financed by Region Norrbotten.

Please contact Tove Cullhed if you have any questions about the offer. tove.cullhed@norrbotten.se.

Region Norrbotten also offers training and support regarding sustainability integration of projects. You can read more about this here. Support in sustainability integration
