Workshop with Youth Up North
Since 2020, the Youth Up North project has played a central role in the work of creating vibrant rural areas where young people not only want to live and reside, but also have an active role in social development. In the project's latest initiative, Youth Up North is collaborating with the municipalities of Haparanda, Jokkmokk, Sorsele, Vindeln and Åsele. By involving civil society, business and municipalities, new methods are being created to strengthen trust in young people's competence and commitment. During the workshop, challenges and future prospects for Norrbotten will be discussed.
Conversation with Övertorneå KulturCrew and other good examples
Övertorneå Municipality works with the inclusion of young people in society through organizing and culture with the KulturCrew model. The concept is that young people learn to plan and carry out cultural events and Övertorneå will talk about their experiences with the initiative.
Try Dance for Health
Dance for Health is a research-based initiative to promote mental health in young people. In Norrbotten there are currently eight active municipalities that offer Dance for Health via the Culture School. During the day we will get to try out the method and hear more about the initiative.
Launch of the Cultural Bridge
Kulturbron was launched in the fall of 2024 and is a catalog of offerings where you can find information about and order art and culture for schools in Norrbotten. Kulturbron is intended to facilitate the provision of art and culture to Norrbotten's schools and provide a broad, fair range of professional art and culture to all children and young people throughout the county.
