Gathering forces for increased housing construction in Norrbotten!

We need to have many more people in Norrbotten, but where will everyone live? Community and housing construction needs to accelerate if there is to be any move-in. Good quality needs to be combined with speed. How will this work?

High interest rates, inflation and war have contributed to great uncertainty in the property market. At the same time, there is much evidence that economic development in northern Sweden remains strong. Under these special conditions, there are both challenges and opportunities.

The Norrbotten Region in collaboration with the Swedish Construction Association and the Property Owners invites you to a roundtable discussion with the theme Increased housing construction in Norrbotten. The aim is to create a common picture of the situation and identify concrete initiatives that can accelerate and increase housing construction. The conversation is arranged within the framework of the North Sweden Green Deal project.

Target group: The construction and real estate industry in Norrbotten, municipalities in Norrbotten and other actors with a mandate/interest in housing construction.

The North Sweden Green Deal is an initiative to realize a sustainable societal transition, in the wake of the new industrial establishments.

The project is run by Region Norrbotten and Region Västerbotten together with a number of other actors. It is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
