Designed living environment in snowy communities
We are now following up the conference "Designed Living Environment - Life between houses" with a new conference on the theme of snow and Designed Living Environment, this time in Kiruna.
We further explore how architecture, form, design, art and cultural heritage can relate to winter and snow in our social structure.
The conference is aimed at politicians, civil servants, architects, planners, artists, cultural institutions, community planners, the tourism industry, and others.

Maria Ragnestam is a trained curator and active in and outside Sápmi, based in Kiruna, Norrbotten, and director of Konstfrämjandet Norrbotten.
Britta Marakatt Labba is one of Norrbotten's most recognized artists and had her big international breakthrough at Documenta 14, 2017.
Nina Elisasson is a state-building strategist in Kiruna.
Annie Arnqvist is an architect and urban planner and has worked in most municipalities in Norrbotten as a city architect and/or planner.
Åsa Bergdahl is a curator and art consultant and has worked at the Swedish Arts Council as an art consultant since 2010.
Åsa Mårtensson runs the company Art and Public Environment and is active throughout Sweden with assignments related to education, surveys and public art.
Björn Ekelund is a planner and architect, and co-owner of Warm in the Winter. He is also a researcher and lecturer in urban planning at Luleå University of Technology.
Annica Lindström is head of unit for urban planning and cultural environment at the Norrbotten County Administrative Board.
Nelli Flores Nilsson is a county architect with many years of experience in community planning issues within municipalities in both Norrbotten and Västerbotten as well as the County Administrative Board.
