Events an important part of Norrbotten's future
Welcome to a seminar where you will learn about insights and conclusions from Region Norrbotten's new feasibility study on regional event collaboration.
Norrbotten, with its Arctic climate, unique environments and cultural expressions, and its committed community life, has the potential to attract and organize major events. This is evident from the feasibility study that Region Norrbotten conducted with the participation of over 60 people from different parts of Norrbotten.
But the feasibility study also reveals a number of obstacles to our ability to collectively win, host or create those really big and talked-about events ourselves. The industry is demanding more low-profile collaboration, increased professionalization, better long-term planning and more stable conditions, not least financially.
The target group is professional and non-profit actors as well as the public sector in Norrbotten who are interested in events or organizing at a strategic or operational level.
The seminar is part of the Mötesplats SM week and is arranged by RF-SISU Norrbotten in collaboration with Region Norrbotten and Boden Event AB.
