Information about the Regional Action Plan for ESF+
Region Norrbotten, Region Västerbotten and the Swedish ESF Council in Upper Norrland invite you to a live-streamed dialogue meeting about the conditions and proposals for a regional action plan that is based on a national ESF program.
Region Norrbotten and Region Västerbotten are currently developing a joint action plan for the European Social Fund+ (ESF+) for regional and local skills supply initiatives over the next seven years. In total, this involves billions of kronor, which will enable projects to increase the workforce supply, contribute to strengthened skills development and lifelong learning, and increase immigration and strengthen the attractiveness of Upper Norrland.
The task for regional development managers to develop regional action plans comes from the government. Mats Lejon from the Swedish ESF Council in Övre Norrland provides information about the national ESF program. Tove Cullhed from Region Norrbotten and Joel Hedlund from Region Västerbotten provide information about the proposal for a regional action plan.
There is an opportunity to ask questions at the meeting. Comments should be submitted in writing via this template, and must be submitted no later than March 9th.
Please note – Register for the meeting even if you cannot attend the information session but would like to submit written comments. This will put you on the mailing list for those who will receive the draft regional action plan.
