The Rivers Rural Conference

How do we create attractive places to live and work, while strengthening our local food supply? These are some of the questions on the agenda when the Älvarnas Rural Conference brings together actors from the public sector, business, civil society and research to discuss rural development in the Luleå and Råneå river valleys.

The River Valleys Rural Conference takes its starting point from the place, the people and the conditions required for the countryside to be vibrant, resilient and relevant in the future. By weaving together stories, research and practical examples, a common conversation is created about how the river valleys can develop based on their own strengths and opportunities.
